The Scottish Government’s Reaching 100% (R100) commitment to providing superfast broadband access for every home and business in Scotland will be met through three strands of activity:

  • R100 contracts;
  • Supporting further commercial coverage; and
  • The Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme.

The Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme (SBVS)

  • R100 SBVS Voucher – A ‘one off’ voucher worth up to £5,000 to help deliver a permanent superfast broadband for both homes and businesses with no planned deployment of state or commercial superfast broadband. TEST
  • At the moment issuing of UK Government Vouchers are currently paused, therefore you will not be able to combine the R100 SBVS voucher with the UK Government Gigabit Voucher at the moment,  however when these voucher applications open back up again, for rural homes and businesses the £5,000 Scottish Government R100 SBVS voucher can be combined with UK Government Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme funding of £4500. For Scottish and UK Government Combined Vouchers, suppliers must be registered and approved to deliver connectivity under the UK Government’s Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme (GBVS). The GBVS Pre-Registered Package process must be used to access this funding, for more information please visit: Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme information - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Suppliers are invited to register for the Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme.

Suppliers who are not yet ready to register or wish to discuss any aspect or detail of the Scheme can complete an expression of interest.

As the Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme is supplier led, residential households and SMEs who currently have broadband slower than 30 Mbps should visit the Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband website to check eligibility and register interest.
